Bring the Outdoors In: Adding Nature’s Touch with Green Cabinetry

When designing a space, it’s important to think about the feeling you want to experience when you enter the room. Maybe you want to feel a sense of order or like you’re on vacation everyday in your own home.

For the kitchen in our Shenandoah Valley Home - a mountain home that we designed as an embodiment of our company’s birthplace - we wanted to create a welcoming, serene environment, inspired by the lush forest that surrounds us. To bring that feeling to life, we chose Sydney in Painted Sage and paired it with touches of organic textures and finishes for a nature-inspired, multi-tone kitchen.

Mixing a combination of varied cabinet colors adds visual interest and eclectic appeal to any space. Our Shenandoah Valley home uses Warren DFO in Maple Almond and Painted Linen paired with Sydney in Painted Sage and Painted Linen to create a kitchen where everyone feels welcome.

Forest green shades like Painted Sage give your space vibrancy, without feeling too bold or loud. To complement the rich gem tone, we chose tile with organic detailing and reeded glass cabinet door inserts to add texture and dimension.

When your interior style is inspired by nature, the calming feeling you receive when you enter a space never goes out of style. From green walls to green cabinetry like Painted Sage, the green kitchen interior trend is here to stay.
